The Christmas spirit was present at the Hogar Rosa Duarte School. We feel honored to have shared with the girls of this educational establishment, together with American employers, in an afternoon of rejoicing, dances, songs, animations, sports, and social and cultural support that left us wanting to return soon, and to expand the voices of those in need in order to encourage other institutions to contribute to society what we have learned from it.

Welcome

They welcomed us with passion. They prayed for us and for our arrival. They gave us gifts. In short: we who were going to alleviate rough edges, left with a healed wound.

American Employers

We thank the US employers who participated in this activity. Without a doubt, without your presence, this would not have happened. Thank you for promoting the spirit of our social program with your enthusiasm, painted faces, dances, chuchus trains that you made with us and the girls.

Sister Nalia

Yes, Sister Nalia, representing the Daughters of Charity of Saint Vincent de Paul, would not have opened the doors to us, this event would not have happened. The unconditional love that we perceive from this humble nun towards her girls cannot be described. Their passion was felt throughout the school, and we took a piece of that love with us.

Our students

Our Social Support Program was conceived with the idea of contributing to society, especially to those most in need, an affection that we have seen and experienced in the last 13 years. Our students wanted to share that cordiality, that ardor with us and their presence was widely welcomed: they painted, ran, danced; They took their shoes and gave them back after three minutes. We painted rooms and bathrooms and they gave 300 educational books to the girls of the Rosa Duarte School.

It was a great afternoon. It was a great day. And, as the girls told their employers: “We will never forget you.”
