We all eagerly wait for that crucial day; the day they will find out if their long-planned trip to the US will become a reality. This is the day of your J1 visa interview!
Then you get up at 9:00 that day and you get a plug.
Oops.

But it is nothing more than just a huge nightmare, since we know that you will be counting the days and organizing your documents so that everything is perfect.

• Be at least one hour before the interview in front of the US Embassy at the point that Ace will later indicate;
• Your clothing and appearance should be appropriate for the occasion;
• Know every detail of your job offer in advance, so that you can give precise and clear answers to the consular official;
• Stay calm and keep smiling!

Please pay special attention to the following items as you cannot enter the US Embassy while wearing:
• Electronic or battery-powered devices such as mobile phones, digital agendas, digital watches, pagers, cameras, audio/video cassettes, compact discs, MP3s, floppy disks, laptops or portable music players;
• Large bags/purses: only bags that can be carried by hand will be allowed;
• Bags such as travel bags, backpacks, briefcases, leather, cloth bags and zip folders: You can only carry plastic bags with application-related documents;
• Food;
• Sealed envelopes or packages;
• cigarettes, cigars, matchbooks, lighters;
• Sharp objects such as scissors, razors or nail files;
• Weapons made of explosive materials of any type.

Finally, follow all the guidelines that your recruiting company will offer you in the following days.
Good luck!
